Key Responsibilities:
1. Treasury & Cash Management
– Build and maintain daily cash-flow models across 63 SPVs
– Manage multi-tier escrow accounts (DSRA, O&M, debt service) and inter-SPV fund movements
– Implement short-term investment strategies (FDs, liquid funds) to preserve liquidity and maximize yield
2. Debt Structuring & Bank Relations
– Draft, negotiate and finalize term-sheets, loan agreements and CP check-lists
– Coordinate with banks/NBFCs on moratorium structures, IDC capitalization and DSRA coverage
– Monitor covenants (DSCR, LLCR) and prepare compliance certificates for lenders
3. Government Scheme & Regulatory Liaison
– Interface with DISCOMs/MNRE for LOA/PPA tracking, subsidy/interest-subvention claims and BG refunds at COD
– Ensure timely submission of PPA annexures, tariff certificates and regulatory filings
4. SPV Accounting & Consolidation
– Maintain SPV-level books under IND AS: journal entries, inter-company eliminations and reconciliations
– Lead monthly close: P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-Flow statements; analyze variances vs. budget
– Coordinate statutory audits and filings (GST, TDS, ROC AOC-4 & MGT-7)
5. Investor & Board Reporting
– Prepare monthly treasury dashboards, DSCR/LLCR scorecards and financing-cost analyses
– Develop board papers for Finance Reviews detailing debt drawdowns, equity calls and cash-flow forecasts
Candidate Profile:
Education (mandatory):
– Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a top-tier institute
Experience & Skills:
– 5-8 years in project finance, treasury or corporate finance-ideally with solar/IPPs or infrastructure (e.g., Fourth Partner Energy, CleanMax, ReNew Power, Avaada)
– Hands-on with debt raises (term-sheets to drawdowns), escrow waterfalls and SPV consolidation
– Advanced Excel modeling (DSCR, waterfalls, sensitivity analyses)
– Familiarity with Tally, SAP B1 or similar ERP for SPV accounting
– Comfortable with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards
– Deep understanding of solar-project economics, financing structures and PM-KUSUM guidelines
– Strong stakeholder management with bankers, regulators and auditors
– Exceptional analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a startup setting
Desirable Certifications:
– FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation)
– PMP or PMI-RMP
– CFA Level I/II
