The Role
We are seeking an experienced part time Finance Consultant to lead and manage a critical legal entity change for our client. This role will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and executing the financial and regulatory aspects of transitioning to a new legal structure, while ensuring business continuity and stakeholder alignment.
This is a hands-on, project-focused role suited to someone who can operate at both a strategic and detailed level.
Your key responsibilities would be;
- Lead the finance workstream for a legal entity change (e.g. restructure, incorporation, or group reorganisation)
- Develop and manage the end-to-end project plan, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Assess financial, tax, accounting, and reporting implications of the entity change
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Tax, Payroll, IT, Operations) and external advisors (accountants, tax advisors, legal counsel)
- Oversee changes to financial systems, chart of accounts, banking, and reporting structures
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements
- Prepare and review financial documentation, impact assessments, and transition reporting
- Support go-live and post-transition stabilisation activities
Your Profile
You will have proven experience with the below;
- Delivering legal entity changes, restructures, or similar finance-led transformation projects experience
- Strong background in finance, accounting, or consulting
- Demonstrated project management capability, including managing multiple stakeholders
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, tax considerations, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to translate complex financial issues into clear, practical advice
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a changing environment
