The position

By joining our team in CFO you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead the origination and execution of suitable non-recourse financing and equity transactions, designing the appropriate development capital allocation by project or portfolio to support the Company’s business activities.

+ Maintain cooperative relationships with international and local banks, including multilateral financial institutions, export credit agencies, institutional investors, private equity/infrastructure funds, IPP and utilities.

+ Lead the structuring and execution of debt and equity financing transactions to achieve a successful financial close.

+ Lead the preparation, review and negotiation of debt and equity financing economics, term sheets and documents.

+ Design fit for purpose solutions on a bespoke basis for individual assets, ensuring the most bankable solution for the current market opportunities.

+ Work together with internal counterparts in the region, and internationally, both within Treasury and Tax, internal asset owners and commercial teams.

+ Liaise with partners, and help manage partner relationships, lead joint partner finance work streams and manage partner decision making forums related to financing.

+ A Bachelor’s degree, or above, in business administration or economics, finance, law, engineering.

+ Previous relevant professional experience in the financing of energy/infrastructure-related projects (ideally including renewable energy).

+ Hands-on experience in originating loans, guarantees and/or equity transactions, managing due diligence, financial modelling, mitigating credit and other risks, negotiating term sheets and finance documentation and related project (and corporate) finance activities.

+ Proven experience negotiating successfully with lending institutions (continental and multilateral banks) and investors.

+ Existing network with various financial institutions.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate effectively to senior management.

Candidates with less experience but who exhibit a passion for finance will also be considered.
