Greenvolt Power Spain is seeking for a Project Finance Analyst who will be responsible for:
Key Accountabilities
* Develop, maintain, and improve detailed project finance models for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage, hybrid, etc.).
* Perform sensitivity, scenario, and risk analyses to support investment decisions.
* Prepare valuation models, IRR calculations, cash flow forecasts, and capital structure analysis.
* Support due diligence processes, coordinating with technical, legal, tax, and commercial teams.
Project Support & Transaction Execution
* Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal committees and senior leadership.
* Support financing processes, including interactions with banks, lenders, and advisors.
* Contribute to the review of project contracts (PPAs, EPC, O&M, TSA) from a financial and risk impact perspective.
* Track project performance against financial expectations, updating models when required.
Market & Business Analysis
* Research market trends, regulatory frameworks, and financial benchmarks in the renewable energy sector.
* Analyse key financial drivers (CAPEX, OPEX, pricing assumptions, inflation, interest rates).
* Benchmark project performance and maintain internal databases of comparable transactions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Coordinate with engineering, development, legal, and asset management teams to validate inputs and assumptions.
* Support senior team members by taking over analytical work, ensuring smooth execution and workload balance.
* Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing within the finance function.
Requirements
* University Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or Management
* 2-3 years of relevant experience with project finance in project finance department of the bank, renewable company or one of the Big4 companies in project finance advisory
* Fluent English;
* Advanced Excel and Office;
* Project management skills;
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
* Advanced analytical skills
