Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Finance Operations Manager to lead and optimize financial processes within our project-based initiatives. Duties
- Manage end-to-end project financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure project profitability and fiscal responsibility
- Oversee financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606 standards
- Conduct risk analysis and risk management assessments to identify potential financial vulnerabilities within projects
- Lead treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable and receivable oversight
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for governmental and non-profit sectors while maintaining accurate general ledger accounting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning initiatives and provide insights through detailed financial report writing and interpretation
- Implement effective internal controls for cost management, account reconciliation, and financial software utilization to streamline operations
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Strong expertise in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and public accounting practices
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management techniques
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, risk analysis, investment management, and compliance management
- Skilled in technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, cost accounting, revenue management, and account reconciliation
- Excellent financial report writing skills with the ability to interpret complex financial statements for diverse audiences
- Experience with financial software systems for balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable processing
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and cost control strategies to optimize project performance
