The Vice President will play a key role within the Agency & Transaction Management group, overseeing structured finance, project finance, and corporate transactions across the Americas—particularly within the energy, infrastructure, and corporate sectors. This role includes acting as administrative agent or sole lender and also involves monitoring and maintaining a portfolio of transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of structured, project, and corporate finance deals primarily in the Americas.
- Support deal closings and monitor conditions precedent.
- Coordinate funding across multiple financial institutions.
- Track and manage borrower deliverables such as financials, covenants, UCC filings, and insurance documentation.
- Monitor guarantees, collateral, and evaluate conditions for draws and distributions.
- Lead bank meetings and conference calls, acting as the key point of contact with sponsors, co-lenders, legal counsel, independent engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage waivers or amendments in coordination with borrower/sponsor groups and participant lenders.
- Serve as the liaison between internal departments such as legal, credit risk, front and back office teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within internal portfolio management systems.
- Collaborate with global data and control teams to ensure portfolio accuracy and data integrity.
- Coordinate assignment and transfer processes.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, data analysis, and special projects as required.
- Manage a high-volume workload in a deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in project finance, agency roles, or structured finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline.
- Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
