Project Finance Assistant

Do you want to work for a company that prides themselves on their culture and employee support. I’m currently working with one of my key clients, a leading manufacturing firm to recruit a Project Finance Assistant to their offices in Wantage.

This is a temporary contract initially for 3-6 months however does have the potential to open up further opportunities within the company. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a business going through a growth period which shows no signs of slowing down!

Working with the project management team you will be responsible for the coordination or all finance admin functions surrounding the project.

Key Responsibilities

* Creation of new supplier finance details as well as updating any changes i.e. bank details
* Raise purchase orders in SAP
* Issue PO numbers for suppliers with supporting documentation
* Upload received invoices for approval
* Work closely with the accounts payable team to arrange payment
* Assist with reporting and reconciliations

Extensive finance experience is not necessary for this role however you must be able to show previous administrative experience ideally with some finance exposure.

Strong communication skills essential as well as being organised and pro-active.

This role is completely office based with free parking onsite and excellent public transport links. Client also has a canteen onsite and gym!
