UDC is seeking a full-time Project Finance Administrator to help support our organization. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed below, your primary role will be coordinating the technical project administration of UDC’s Enterprise Resource Planning system (OpenAir). The selected candidate will report to the Project Finance Manager.

What you will do

Your typical responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Performs centralized ERP processes to consistency across projects and the organization
  • Sets up all new projects in the system
  • Interfaces with Account Managers, Project Managers and team leads to build, maintain, and validate ERP projects and projected labor costs and billings
  • Prepares, tracks and analyzes project status and company resource utilization reports
  • Utilizes the ERP in accordance with Finance, Accounting and PMO standards and best practices, and helps define and recommend process improvements.
  • Clearly communicates schedules and data analysis findings; notifies the project managers about abnormalities or variances.
  • Helps maintain consistent use of ERP by all system users by providing support, training, and guidance.
  • Manages internal support inbox and responds in a timely manner
  • Analyzes customer contracts for key data to be used in the ERP System
  • Analyzes the integration and maintains data quality between all company systems
  • Conducts UAT Testing for process workflows and practices to ensure best fit for company standards
  • Creates Standard Procedure Documents once processes are established
  • Prepares reports for Project Managers to analyze their projects in the ERP system
  • Provides direct contact with NetSuite/OpenAir support to help solve complex issues
  • Supports Project Finance Manager with: budgets, forecasting, revenue recognition/EAC Analysis, metric and other Ad Hoc analyses. Presentations/Trainings on occasion

What we look for from you

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following skills and qualifications.

  • Exposure to and experience working with ERP or PSA system required
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and analytic skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and work well independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sounds judgment and dependability
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize obligations
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial journals, reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to requests from customers/employees, regarding project financials, ERP system, and other support issues

Preferred but not required

  • Experience in Computer Science
  • Experience working in MS Project

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) and three to five years of related experience/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Location

Our Englewood, Colorado office. Hybrid work schedule is available for discussion

Compensation range

Between $55,000-$75,000 annually, depending on experience
