Middle Office Manager- Syndicated Loans/Project Finance

The employee will be part of the Operations and Finance Team of the London’s Branch team, and will report directly to the Head of Operations, who is one of the branch’s two Deputy Managers.The employee will be the liaise between the branch’s front office support team and the back office in Spain, owning the transaction flow from front to back.

Main Responsibilities:• Manage and support operations such as: Bilateral and Syndicated loans, Project Finance, Corporate Loans, Deposits, Factoring, Confirming, Revolving facilities.• Manage Corporate clients on-boarding and KYC with internal parties to ensure they are set up in a timely and correct manner.• Maintain complete and up to date records of systems data and documentation.• Provide “checks and balances” for financial operations, including verification of client’s authorization, signatures, limits availability.• Assist in the preparation of documentation for auditors and external/internal inspections.• Assist with various projects and the implementation of new processes in relation to the Operations function.

Qualifications:• Business administration, finance or economics degree.• Minimum 3-5 years documented professional experience acquired in a similar position.• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish a plus.• Knowledge on Project Finance and Syndicated LoansSkills:• A team worker with the ability to deal with in different cultural environments.• Methodical organizational planning, accuracy and following up of business activities.• Proactive approach to learning and developing new skills.• Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office suite.• Good communication and interpersonal skills.• Committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
